Toys from the OP Shop......

So, after Hope's extended stay out in the country due to her car (don't ask!!!), I was rewarded with a ziplock bag of curious insanity.

I'm not really sure what to think of it, but it was not the"big bag of mini wrestlers" that was described to me. Still, there was gold inside.....

Weddings....

We are really not the people who want to show off all those photos & video from our wedding. So I decided to make a canvas that celebrates it.

Still lots to go...

Hope hasn't seen it yet, she won't get home for about an hour...

PONG!!

While digging through my box of cables to find a VGA adaptor I came across this old TV game. Pong has great memories for everyone, but unfortunately this one has been dead for a long time.

I really don't even know why I have held onto to this for so long, it has probably been out of action since '98.

Time to give it a bit of a life again......

This happened to me recently while carrying my Android Tablet tucked inside a copy of 'Silence Of The Lambs'......

Bugs under glass....

Thinking of those lovey-dovey papers, made me think of butterflys, which made me think of the shadow boxes Hope also bought home with those papers.

I have always admired peoples butterfly collections, but not sure that Hope likes bugs in the lounge room. Maybe she will like this...

Using photo paper, shadow box, foam core, PVA, white paint and the power of the internet....

Hope came home from work at Riot Art & Craft the other day with some new papers. Her excitement was not matched by my dread for all the lovey-dovey ones out there.

That was until I saw this cool robot design that I thought would be a nice door hanger for my nephew.

But this paper cutting gives me an idea, I may be back soon....

So, with this new blog kicking off I decided that I would like a nice title image for the site which embraced the idea behind it, a mix of craft and geek.

Starting with a canvas I didn't like, I walked around the house for hours until I came across a box of old keyboards...

It really looks very different under the scanner in comparison to real life.

Back in the swing...

Now trying to do some more crafty projects with some new found time. Also back on the web for the first time in ages.
